Pre-Loaded
Inventory Gets You Started Fast!
The
Vendor Catalog is a fantastic tool
that we designed to help eliminate
days if not weeks of data entry
work during initial system setup.
The Uniform Solution's Vendor Catalog
is a complete inventory listing
from major uniform suppliers. The
catalog listing has every style,
color, and size combination for
a participating vendor. Each item
in the catalog contains the product
number, the item's price, a basic
description, and the UPC barcode
number for vendors that have barcoded
their product line.
Using QuickLoad
The vendor catalog is used to quickly
load product lines into your inventory
by first copying the product listings
from the Vendor Catalog. Once you
have copied these items and set
the current retail price, our QuickLoad
procedure quickly prints new price
tags and sets the current inventory
count by simply scanning the UPC
barcodes on your garments.
The Vendor Catalog is another example
of Premier Data System's commitment
to become the best software package
on the market for uniform stores.
Benefits
to New Customers
The Vendor Catalog benefits new
customers greatly. Instead of
manually inputting each item that
you carry into The Uniform Solution,
you simply use the Vendor Catalog
to copy the items from the catalog
into your inventory - saving days
of work. And for vendors that
have UPC barcoded merchandise,
all you have to do is scan their
UPC barcode and the program can
copy the items you scanned into
the program without any data entry.
This capability is absolutely
invaluable to a store owner ready
to bring their store on-line.
Benefits to Current Customers
Existing customers can use the
vendor catalog to copy new product
offerings into their inventory
instead of manually entering them.
The catalog can also be used to
update prices after a vendor performs
a price change. When performing
a price update, the program searches
for a matching UPC barcode in
the catalog and your inventory.
If it finds a match, it updates
the products cost, and it can
update the products retail price
based on a markup formula if desired.
For merchandise without a UPC
barcode, the program will try
to match the style, color, and
size. If a match is found the
price is updated.
