A
Software Subscription
for The Uniform Solution
entitles you to receive
any updates made to The
Uniform Solution for Windows
and the Vendor Catalog
during the subscription
period which begins on
January 1st of the year
and ends on the last day
of the year. Updates are
posted on our web site
at www.theuniformsolution.com
when they become available
and can also be downloaded
easily from within the
program.
A software subscription
is required to use the
Direct EDI and ASN features
in The Uniform Solution
for placing purchase orders
and receiving shipments
from partnered vendors.
Direct EDI enables a customer
to send purchase through
the internet to vendors
that have partnered with
PDS - bypassing manual
order entry by the vendor.
Advance Ship Notices (ASN's)
enable a customer to receive
merchandise by scanning
the barcode on each carton
they receive.
Customers with multiple
location licenses must
purchase a Software Subscription
for each location. After
buying the first Software
Subscription for the main
location at the regular
price, each additional
Software Subscription
will be discounted $200
from the full subscription
price.
Subscriptions bought anytime
during the year cost the
full amount of the subscription
regardless of when purchased.
Customers that did not
have a subscription on
the final day of the prior
year, must add $100 for
each prior year to the
cost of the subscription.
Customers that are renewing
their Software Subscription
after their initial software
purchase will pay a pro-rated
amount for continuing
their subscription through
the end of the year.
