Setup
and Installing theTMU200
Serial Printer
|
To
use this printer with
The Uniform Solution
program, you must set
the dip switch on the
printer, and use a Generic
Windows Print Driver.
You will also need a
small phillips screw
driver, a small flash
light, a magnifying
glass and a pair of
tweezers close at hand.
Configuring
the Dip Switches
Turn
the printer off. Remove
any paper in the printer.
Unplug the power supply
and the printer cable
from the back of the
printer. Turn the
printer over and remove
the bottom metal plate.
When you remove the
plate, you will see
two (2) rows of dip
switches (see diagram).
Locate the row of
dip switches labeled
DSW1 (this
is where the small
flash light and magnifying
glass come in handy).
Once you have located
the row labeled dip
switch DSW1,
flip the #3
dip switch UP,
which is the ON
position. Only the
#3 dips switch
should be in the ON
position. Do
not change any
switches on DSW 2.
Secure the plate to
the bottom of the
printer, turn the
printer over and reconnect
the power supply and
printer cable. Install
the receipt paper
and turn the print
on.
