My cash drawer won't open

1. Make sure the Epson receipt printer is turned on.
2. Make sure the cables are connected and have not come loose or been disconnected.
3. Make sure the printer is plugged into a power outlet.  If using a surge protector make sure it is plugged into a power outlet and turned on.
4. Go to Setup > This Computer > Cash Drawer and confirm that "This computer controls a cash drawer" is selected and that the printer and the port settings are correct.  Make sure in the Printer Field the Epson receipt printer is selected then press the Test Drawer button.
5. After you have checked all the connections and cables and if the cash drawer still will not open, refer to any manuals that came with the cash drawer or call Premier Data Systems.
