How do I connect the VeriFone
PinPad to my computer and how do I configure the
PinPad in The Uniform Solution
program?
| 1. |
The computer should be off
before connecting the VeriFone PinPad
to the computer. |
| 2. |
Remove the VeriForne PipPad, A/C Adapter
and Cables from the box. Connect the A/C
Adapter and Cables to the VeriFone PinPad and to
a phone port on the wall. Connect the
VeriFone PinPad to a Serial/COM port on the back
of the computer. Turn the computer
on. |
| 3. |
Open The Uniform Solution program go to
Setup > This
Computer > Credit
Cards. Put a check mark in "
A PinPad device is connected to this
computer". Select the correct COM
port and click OK to save the
changes. |

After all the setup and configurations
have been made, the display on the
VeriFone PinPad should read
Wait. When The
Uniform Solution program is closed, the
display will show arrows
moving across the VeriFone PinPad
display. |
