My VeriFone PinPad doesn't
work
| 1. |
Check all the connections to the computer
and to the VeriFone PinPad. |

Check all the configurations in The
Uniform Solution program to ensure that the
VeriFone PinPad is setup and configured
correctly. |

Disconnect the phone cable from the
VeriFone PinPad and then reconnect to reset the
VeriFone PinPad. |
| 4. |
Check the configurations in X-Charge to
ensure that the VeriFone PinPad feature has been
activated. To do this, open
X-Charge >
File >
Setup > Credit
Cards > Transaction
Tab. No check mark should be
entered on this window. |

Test the VeriFone PinPad. Close
X-Charge then right-click on the X-Charge icon
in the System Icon tray (lower right-hand corner
of your screen where the time is
located) and left-click on Exit.
Click yes to close. Open The Uniform
Solution program and create an invoice and
select method of payment as Debit/ATM.
Scan a card and when asked to enter your pin
number, enter a fake number then cancel the
transaction. |

After you have checked all the
connections, cables and configurations in The
Uniform Solution and in X-Charge, and the
VeriFone PinPad still is not working, refer to
any manuals that came with the VeriFone PinPad
or call Premier Data
Systems. |
