Turning off
Power Management Features for the Network
Card

To turn off the power
management feature on the Network card,
right-click on My
Computer and left-click on
Properties
. |

Click on the
Hardware tab to bring to the
forefront then click on the Device
Manger
button. |

When the list populates click on the
plus sign in front of Network
Adapters to open.
Indented under Network Adapters is your Network
Card. Right-click on the Network
Card and left-click on
Properties.

Click on the
Power Management tab to bring
to the forefront and deselect "Allow the
computer to turn off this device to save
power".
Click OK to save your
changes then close all screens back to the
desktop. |
