My tag printer is printing
out blank label/tags and/or skipping
labels/tags.
Try running
a Media AutoSense procedure.
| 1. |
Turn the printer
Off. The on/off button is
located on the back right-hand corner of the
printer. See diagram below for location of
the on/off switch. |
| 2. |
Press and hold down the green feed
button, and while holding down the green feed
button, turn on the printer. When the
status light blinks, release the feed
button. |
| 3. |
The printer will advance the media to
measure and verify the length of the individual
labels or tags. The printer will print a
status summary label and remains in diagnostic
dump mode. |
| 4. |
Press and release the green feed button
to exit (diagnostic) "Dump"
mode and a label/tag will print "out of
DUMP". See diagram below for a
status label/tag. |
| 5. |
Test the printer by adding some
labels/tags to the print queue in The Uniform
Solution program. |
| 6. |
If the status light remains amber or red
or the status label/tag doesn't
print, refer to the manual that came with
the printer or call Premier Data
Systems. |
