Over the past 30 years, we have been able to help more than 1000 retail locations increase their sales, control their inventory, and reorder merchandise with ease.
One way we deliver value is by "connecting" our customers to uniform vendors with our Connected Partner Program. These "connected" services have dramatically improved the efficiency of retailers' businesses and improved each vendor's relationship with their customers while reducing errors and staff involved in order entry and customer service operations. If your company is serious about the uniform industry, we strongly encourage you to become a connected partner with us. We are certain the benefits will easily outweigh the costs.
The Uniform Solution enables retailers to send electronic purchase orders to vendors, receive shipments using an advance ship notice, see actual vendor stock levels in The Uniform Solution, and view images of items the vendor has available. Becoming a "Connected Partner" opens the door to improved customer service, reduced order entry personnel, and an improved relationship with your customers.
$1,500/year plus $1.25/Purchase Order*
Direct EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) allows users of The Uniform Solution to send electronic purchase orders directly to the vendor’s FTP sites - one that doesn't have to be manually entered by a customer service representative. This form of purchase order reduces order entry errors, increases efficiency, and saves you money by eliminating the need for an order entry person to enter each order you receive by hand. The only other cost component of the program is the cost of receiving purchase orders sent using Direct EDI during the 12-month term. Purchase orders received will cost $1.25 each. Connect with our sales team to learn about tiered volume pricing that may apply.
Advance Ship Notices
An advance ship notice lets retailers receive the merchandise you ship by the carton. Similar to EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), vendors will simply place a file on their FTP (File Transfer Protocol) sites that contain the shipment information for a retailer’s order. Retailers are then able to quickly and accurately receive shipments.
Real-Time Vendor Stock Reporting
From the retailer’s perspective, this is one of the greatest features vendors can provide. By setting up a simple web service, retailers and distributors can instantly see vendor stock available as they create customer orders, purchase orders, or review their stock in our inventory list. The feature is seamless in operation and beneficial to retailers and distributors.
The Uniform Solution displays images of products and color swatches in several procedures, such as item selection in sales entry and purchase order entry and the inventory list. Product images, color swatches, and brand logos are also displayed in the retailer's WebStore. This is a great feature that prevents retailers from needing to download and assign an image to each inventory item provided by vendors. Ideally, image "swatches" would also be provided for each color or print so the customer can view an image of the style and the color or print pattern they select.
Communicating with retailers and distributors via email is a quick and cost-efficient method. The email features built into The Uniform Solution enable vendors to email invoices, reports, and account statements easily.
This program has your complete product line included in The Uniform Solution's vendor catalog. Pre-loaded inventory lets your customers quickly set up and maintain your product line.
In addition to providing us with your product listing, you can provide product images in a website folder that are automatically downloaded each time your product line is updated in The Uniform Solution. New product line submissions are posted for customers to download within two business days of receipt. If you would like your product line information included in the vendor catalog, provide us with your product listing in the format below. All vendors that wish to have their product lines included will be required to have a UPC barcode number assigned to each item and a UPC barcode tag printed and attached to the garment when it ships. Product lines must be kept up-to-date; out-of-date catalogs will be removed to ensure accuracy for uniform retailers and distributors.
The Uniform Solution has partnered with uniform vendors since 1996, when we began preloading product listings from major uniform suppliers. Today there are over 65+ brands listed in the vendor catalog and 44 of those brands are “connected" partners with The Uniform Solution.
